Hobbyhorse: San Francisco bay area folk duo and hosts of Radio Guitar

About Hobbyhorse:

If you love the mystical sounds of Celtic music …or the intricacy of fingerstyle acoustic guitar …or the energy and skill of authentic musicians who can really play, you’ll love Hobbyhorse and their truly unique blend of world class folk.

What people are saying:

“I find the music simultaneously stimulating and relaxing (if that makes sense), as well as being downright enchanting!” DD Rocker – Iron Maidens Radio Show

“Hobbyhorse… embodies the magic that is woven in the art of folk music ….it is authentic, spirited & manifest from the love of creation … Each song is a delight of discovery. ” DJ Frederick – Seldom Heard Radio

Why we created Radio Guitar:

We both play guitar and have a great love of acoustic guitar music. Although, as a duo, most of our own music includes vocals, we decided to create an all instrumental guitar radio station because of the special atmosphere that this genre of music creates.

Our mission for Radio Guitar is to bring a wide variety of great acoustic instrumental guitar music to our listeners. Phil Campbell, who is half of Hobbyhorse, plays and records instrumental guitar music. You will hear some of his songs here on Radio Guitar.
